Homemade Chocolate Ice Cream
takes about an hour, feeds about 12 people
2 quarts of half & half
2 pints of heavy whipping cream
3 1/2 cups of sugar
1 tablespoon of vanilla
4 ounces of unsweetened chocolate powder
Whip all the ingredients together in a large bowl with a mixer until all the sugar and cocoa powder is mixed in. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and start the freezing process. When the machine stops, the ice cream is ready! Just make sure you’re watching the ice level.
